Oran Pre-Cast has a number of installation crews experienced in the installation of precast concrete structures. Projects range in complexity from one off domestic houses to large multi-storey infrastructure projects such as hotels, hospital and office blocks. Our site teams have completed projects in both Ireland and the UK.
Larger projects will often involve a number of 8 man crews, coordinated by a site engineer experienced in installing precast concrete structures. Given the tight tolerances associated with the factory manufacturing conditions, and the requirement for the products to fit together flawlessly on site, there is little scope for inaccuracies when installing the individual members. All products are subject to a detailed inspection before leaving the production plant, to ensure that they comply with the production drawings.
Health and Safety forms a cornerstone of all our site works. A full time Health and Safety Manager carries out regular unannounced inspections. All our operatives are trained fully in accordance with industry best practice.
The company maintains and operates a fleet of cranes, MEWP and other associated equipment. Through a close working relationship with a number of industry partners, we have direct access to, and have previously used, cranes of up to 500t capacity for larger bespoke items.
All products are lifted into position in strict accordance with the company Product Handling Manual and under the direction of an appointed person. Specialist certified demoulding, lifting and propping inserts are cast into the products as required. On site equipment such as lifting eyes and chains are regularly inspected and tested to verify their integrity.
Oran Pre-Cast can supply products on a supply only basis as required. In this instance, a detailed Handling and Installation Manual is issued to the contractor to ensure a safe and smooth on-site installation.
