The project consisted of over 4,000m2 of twinwall, lattice floor capping slabs and precast beam elements. A full design of the wall panels was carried out in house, accounting for impact forces from the waste sorting excavator buckets, along with various point reactions from gantries and mechanical sorting equipment.

Oran Pre-Cast provided the structural frames for 2 new buildings on the site. These were a single storey frame for a new 200 seat cafeteria and a 4 storey frame for a new office building.

Our expertise, both in design and manufacture, allowed us to propose and deliver a number of bespoke precast beam profiles for the structure. These provided a direct interface to the architectural fixings, minimising the required on-site concrete works.
